For many years members volunteered at the “Neighbourhood Centre”, caring for babies and toddlers while their mothers were taught sewing, cooking and budgeting, necessities that made life a little easier and provided an afternoon out.
The list below outlines Financial donations have been made in past years. Because of COVID and the fact that May Court was unable to hold our annual fundraiser, few donations have been made. However in spring of 2020 a $10,000 donation was made to Outreach for Hunger.
- Children’s Aid Society
- Meals on Wheels
- Maple City Senior Centre (now the Active Lifestyle Centre)
- Access Open Minds, CK
- VON Kids’ Circle

A May Court Cancer Library was established and a donation made to the M.R.I. equipment for the local hospital. Books are donated to the Chatham Public Library in memory of deceased May Court members.
